House Building - Week Eight, Part 1

I took these photos this past Sunday once we got back from the cabin.  Last I saw the house they were insulating in preparation for sheet rock.  At this point all insulation is done other than spraying the ceilings.  They have finished sheet rocking the basement and all of the ceiling in the upper level.  I'm hoping to get out there tomorrow to check on the progress.

Insulated garage.

You can see the hanging sheeting, this is where they were doing the spray insulation.

House Building - Week Seven

The windows are in and the shingles have been completed.  Today they finished up the electrical and Thursday they will start insulating.  Friday and Saturday they will be hanging drywall.  I will be going up tomorrow to install the surround sound wiring.

Anneli's Baptism

This past Sunday was both fathers day, my third, as well as the day that we baptized Anneli!  Her God parents are Anne and Zach Graves and Christine Weber.  After the baptism we had brunch at Girvan Grille and then later went to Todd and Shannon's to celebrate fathers day.  It was a great day.  Here are some photos!

House Building - Week Six, Part 3

Since it was a rainy dreary day the whole family headed up to check the progress on the house.  Things are still moving along quickly.  They've shingled half the roof, probably finishing tomorrow.  Most of the plumbing is done and duct work has been run.  I'm guessing the windows will be installed soon since they are sitting in the garage.  Here are the photos.
