House Building - Week Fifteen

We are doing our punch list walk through this Thursday so I ran up to the house tonight to do a pre-walk through without the distraction of the girls.  Everything is coming together, it still seems like they have a lot to do but hopefully they'll get everything done in time for the closing on the 29th!

House Building - Week Fourteen

Today Heather and I ran out to the house to see the progress because they leveled the lot.  A number of new things had been completed/installed.  Check out the photos.

There will be drain tile at the low part of the yard and a boulder retaining wall behind the garage for Baylen's kennel to sit on.

New sidewalk, I'm glad they put the gutter drain under the sidewalk!

New front door, they haven't installed the side windows yet.

The pendants, double oven, back splash, faucet, and range hood have all been added.

The railings have been stained and installed!

They must have needed to access the back of the shower faucet, this is inside the linen closet.  Hmm, interesting.

House Building - Week Thirteen

I ran up to the house today to see what had changed.  The counters are in and the siding is done on about 60% of the house.  Here are the photos.

House Building - Week Twelve

We all stopped up at the house tonight to see the progress.  All the trim work has now been installed and enameled.  The railings are mostly installed and the garage floor has been poured.  The siding will start tomorrow and the counters are going in on Monday.  Next week they will also be doing the final paint and garage doors.  Things are starting to come together!  Here are the photos.
